Dilinger's 1903 Steak Brew Restobar

Dillingers 1903 Steak Brew RestoBar in Greenbelt 3

A few weeks ago, my nanay and I went out for our much-needed mother-daughter date. I had four vouchers bought from CashCashPinoy for 52% off on food and drinks from Dillingers 1903 Steak Brew restobar in Greenbelt 3. After hours of pampering from rO2 Beauty and Wellness Center, we were starving so we headed straight to the restaurant.

Upon our arrival on the third floor of Greenbelt 3, we immediately saw Dillingers 1903. Okay, I asked a guard for the exact location. 😀 It was beside Red Box. And as soon as we got there, I couldn’t help but admire the design of the outside of the restaurant.

The wooden doors, the brick wall, the mix of hues of black, gold and gray, and the wide glass windows are reminiscent of something you’d see in a mafia movie. So, let’s go inside…

Dillingers 1903 - my newly discovered resto-bar in Greenbelt

As soon as you push that slightly heavy door to enter the resto, you’d be welcomed by a very relaxing ambiance. I know, this is a restobar, but it’s just so cozy inside that I couldn’t help but wish I was with my barkada too ‘cause it’s the perfect location for a fun night of crazy conversations over bottles of liquor. 😀

I love the seats, the marble tables, the colors (okay, mainly because of the excessive use of black :D), and how comfortable we were while we were dining in. Too bad I can’t drink ‘cause I’m with my nanay. Not that she won’t allow me, but I’d rather stay sober during my whole date with her. 😀

Oh, and speaking of alcoholic drinks, Dillingers 1903 prides itself with their wide selection of wines, imported beer and liquor. The photo above is of our table, the closest one from the door. There’s a liquor display behind me, teasing me to order at least one shot of anything with alcohol. But, I chose not to be carried away. 😀

Below are photos of Dillingers 1903 menu. They serve American dishes and you’d be surprised to note that for a restobar that might remind you of TGI Friday’s, their prices are very affordable. I’m not kidding! Just click on each thumbnail to see a larger version of their menu.

And as you continue on reading this post, you’d be pleasantly surprised with, not just the prices, but the serving sizes as well. We were shocked, especially my nanay. 🙂

Our drinks, including my Dr. Pepper soda, with our Classic Caesar Salad

We first ordered drinks. I had Dr. Pepper and my mom went for their 4 seasons – both priced at Php 65.00.

Dillingers 1903 Classic Caesar Salad

For starters, we ordered their Classic Caesar Salad (Php 145). It was heaping with parmesan cheese, crunchy lettuce, bacon bits, and croutons. The serving can be good for three people – 2 if you were as hungry as we were :D. The flavorful salad definitely prepared our appetite for the upcoming dishes.

Dillingers 1903 Fish and Chips

One of our most recent new favorites is Cream Dory dishes. We’ve prepared it multiple times at home and we just couldn’t stop raving about Fish and Co’s version of Fish and Chips. Guess what? Dillingers 1903’s interpretation of this well-loved dish easily moved to the top of my list. It’s priced at Php 195, a little cheaper, you see. 🙂 My nanay absolutely loved it that she didn’t even want to share it with me. 😀 It was seasoned perfectly with a little crunch that you expect from this dish.

Dillingers 1903 Carbonara

Nanay wanted a pasta dish so she ordered their Carbonara (Php 165). I only tasted it twice for my review ‘cause we were starting to get full from all the food we ordered. 😀

This one, I didn’t completely like. But, wait. It’s not that it didn’t taste good. The saltiness of the parmesan cheese and bacon bits, and the hint of white wine mixed in with the creamy sauce were absolutely delicious. However, I prefer the sauce to be thicker. Theirs were slightly watery for me. The flavors were spot on though. 🙂

Dillingers 1903 6-piece Wings

In our quest to find the best wings in the Metro, I ordered Dillingers 1903’s six-piece Wings (Php 165). It wasn’t too spicy. You’d think that they were dry from the photo above, but they weren’t at all. The wings were chunky and packed with flavors too. 🙂 I still love Ken’s buffalo wings over this though. 🙂

Dillingers 1903 Fillet Mignon

Next up is our plate of Fillet Mignon; ordered it medium well as always. For the price of Php 395, I say it was well worth it. The beef was juicy, with that smoky flavor making this piece of steak so savory.

If you think we’re already moving on to desserts, you’re wrong. I wanted to use up all my vouchers that day ‘cause it was expiring in about two weeks. So, we ordered their Clubhouse sandwich. We were planning on snacking on them as we watch a movie later on that night. BUT, we were so fricking full from the food we ordered. Here’s a photo of my mom enjoying our meal at Dillingers 1903.

Take note that we only finished the Fish and Chips, Fillet Mignon and only had one piece each of the wings. We barely touched the fries. We had to have everything else packed for takeout. Imagine my surprise when our Clubhouse sandwich arrived:

Yep, there were not just one, but THREE containers full of the Clubhouse Sandwich that was priced at Php 265. 😀 I got to taste it later at the cinema. It was the best Clubhouse sandwich I’ve had in a long time. It’s filled with pickles, cheese, ham, spicy roast beef, chicken, egg, tomato, and bacon. It’s one heck of a filling sandwich. 😀

We still had room for dessert. We wanted to order their lava cake, but they ran out so we opted for their vanilla ice cream (Php 95). We didn’t see this on their menu and we had to ask them if they had desserts, by the way.

Their staff was very accommodating. Funny, the lady waiting on our table confirmed with us if we were really ordering all these dishes. When our orders finally arrived, I told her that we didn’t know the servings were good enough for 3-4 persons. 😀

After our meals, my nanay and I walked around Greenbelt to pass the time before our scheduled movie screening. We decided to window-shop for holiday gifts and we saw somemens titanium watches, cute tops and shoes, but we didn’t have enough time for fittings so we’ll just go back probably next week.

Oh, before I forget, Dillingers 1903 has this Happy Hour promo, Mondays to Sundays, 3pm to 8pm. It’s a buy one, take one promo on their selected cocktails. Here’s the list of your choices:

Overall, we had a remarkably satisfying dining experience in Dillingers 1903 Steak Brew restobar. The quality and flavors of their food and reasonable prices make me really look forward to coming back to try their other dishes and their cocktails too. 😉 I give them a MUST-TRY rating. 🙂

  2. thanks for your menu.  A good friend of mine gave me his Groupon voucher and it is expiring this week so I stumbled upon your blog.  Very informative.  Will take note of all your comments.  More power on your blog!

    1. Woot! I also bought Php 1,000 worth of vouchers (Php 2,000 total).

Oh, you MUST bring 2 to 3 people with you. We didn’t get to finish all the food and had LOTS of takeout. LOL

  3. I love it here!  The prices are very reasonable considering the large servings of some dishes.  Haven’t tried the Happy Hour yet though.  How much are the cocktails on the Happy Hour menu? 🙂

    1. Aww so sorry to hear that. So far, I’ve had good experience naman with all my group-buying deals. I guess it depends din sa restaurant or business. There are some na magulo kausap.

  4. The place looks expensive, but food is really cheap! I should bring my mom there next time! We also tend to order a lot but don’t get to finish everything. Hehe. Thanks for the share!

  5. The place looks very similar to Bugsy’s playing up on the whole Mob theme.  You actually should try having beef cooked medium, the perfect mix of tender meat inside and seared meat outside.

    1. When I prepare beef / steaks at home, I opt to cook them to medium. When I’m dining out, I always choose medium well when they’re seared or grilled. I’ve had experience kasi before na I didn’t like how the medium steaks I ordered turned out so I had to have them cooked up to medium well, but I guess it won’t hurt to try again. 🙂

  6. If I went here, I think I’d rorder the wings! It looks delicious, though I hope I find it spicy. ;p I want the fillet mignon as well! (hehe, and yeah, you did order quite a bit)

    1. Hahaha yeah, we had to use up all my vouchers (amounting to Php 2,000) ’cause it’ll be expiring in 2 weeks. Their prices kasi were very affordable so we had to order more. We even had Php 200+ remaining, but I just told them we don’t want to order anymore. LOL
