Foodie Promos, Giveaways & Freebies

You’re Invited: Taste the Goodness of Jollibee MILO Sundae Mix-Ins this Saturday at Mercato Centrale

We recently featured the Jollibee Sundae Mix-Ins MILO Blast. We know a lot of you got excited to try this because of the yummy combination of their soft-serve, Milo powder and Milo breakfast cereal. My friends who have kids already were especially delighted about this news. Milo has been one of our favorite drinks when we were growing up so we are well aware of this energy drink’s health benefits. So, pairing it with Jollibee’s soft-serve sundae just makes it double the fun, double the goodness! :)

If you haven’t tasted this yet, here’s your chance to try it for FREE! This Saturday, Ken and I will be at Mercato Centrale where Jollibee will have a free sampling of this new dessert.

Come with your kids or friends, especially those active young to teen ones, and you might get a chance to win special prizes from Jollibee when you’re seen and photographed by us and other foodie bloggers who’ll be there. If your photo enjoying the Jollibee Sundae Mix-Ins MILO Blast is chosen as the winner, you will get gift certificates and possibly other surprise prizes.

Here are the details of the sampling event:

When: March 17, 2012 – Saturday – We’ll be there by 9am, but Jollibee’s sampling starts at 7am and ends at 2pm.

Where: Mercato Centrale at Bonifacio Global City

We hope to see you on Saturday! Watch out for me and Ken. :D Now, here’s a yummy teaser….

Max’s Chicken Take Out Promo : Limited Time Only!

It’s been a long time since we last ate at Max’s Restaurant since Ken and I are usually on an adventure to dine in a new restaurant everytime. We weren’t able to join their Valentine’s Day party (I did last year and I had a lot of fun with the cupcake designs!), but we’re glad to find out they now have a special offer to those who are always on the go and have been wanting to quickly order Max’s signature “sarap to the bones” chicken.

Max's Restaurant Chicken Take out treat for only Php 299 - CertifiedFoodies.com

For just Php 299, you can now order Max’s chicken for take-out. You save Php 76 from the original price too. Another good reason for you to love Max’s Restaurant. Max's Restaurant caramel barsUsually, when Ken and I are at the mall, we end up buying pasalubong for our parents. Now, we have another option. We can now take home a whole Max’s chicken. I’ve got a planned get-together with my ex-officemates who I haven’t seen for a long time so I can maybe bring this for pulutan, while we enjoy it along with bottles of ice-cold beer and nothing else (I’ve quit smoking so nothing like macanudo or the usual for me.. yay!).

Aside from their chicken, I personally love Max’s pancit, Kare-kare and lumpia. And, of course, their caramel bars! :)

Take note, all you Max’s Restaurant chicken lovers, that this take-out promo is only until March 31, 2012, so hurry and take advantage of it now. :)

Make Your Ultimate Dream Date Come True with Toblerone (Valentine’s Day Promo)

Toblerone's special Valentine's day packaging

Though it’s my second year being single on Valentine’s day, I don’t think that’s reason enough to be bitter or not celebrate. I’ve got love all around me and I’m blessed to be loved too by my friends and family. Yeah, the thought of cuddling up with a special someone on one of the most romantic days of the year does feel nice, but I know this ain’t my time yet. ;) So, I’m sharing this for all you lovers out there – Toblerone’s Valentine’s day promo where you can win a whopping Php 50,000-worth dream date. :)

Say it Sweeter with Toblerone

Click on the banner for the mechanics. This ends on February 10, 2012 (was extended so please don’t mind the date on the website). Visit the Toblerone Pilipinas Facebook page for more info.

Now, for all our fellow singles out there, if there’s this special someone you truly care about and you haven’t worked up the courage yet to tell them how you feel, let me tell you something based on my experience. It’s better to express how you feel before it’s too late. It’s better to have known if you had a chance with him/her than not know at all and forever wonder, “What if?!” It’s 2012, for goodness’ sake! :D

Aria Cucina Italiana : Italian Flavors from Boracay, in Manila VERY SOON + Promo Alert!

Aria Cucina ItalianaI have something to confess. I haven’t been to Boracay. Supposedly, after Ken’s graduation from Nursing (yes, he’s an RN and an RM too! :D ), we were going on a vacation there. But, I was sick so they went without me. I’m pretty jealous of the stories I’ve heard from them and from my friends who’ve been to Boracay because of their stories about the beautiful beaches, the people, activities and, of course, the food. One of the restaurants I’ve heard people raving about was Aria Cucina Italiana.

Briefly, Aria Cucina Italiana is an Italian restaurant in Boracay (D’Mall) known for its modern and contemporary take on the flavors of Italy, particularly inspired by the coastal regions of the Mediterranean. They opened in 2003 and became popular for their homemade pastas, salads, woodfire oven-baked pizzas, and excellent wine list.

Aria Cucina Italiana is in The Fort

A couple of days ago, we received news that they’re coming to Manila. They are finally opening a store in Bonifacio High Street Central in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig on January 28, 2012. Along with the news was an invite to dine at their restaurant. So, we just can’t wait for Aria Cucina Italiana to open its doors this coming week.

Here are a few teaser photos of the food you can savor at Aria Cucina Italiana:
